Today i wanted to share psl how to register your company di SSM. Before i forget psl SSM ni baik i tulis ni dulu walaupun ada beberapa post lain yg tertunggak! hehe

So last week we (me and N si peneman) went to SSM. Never been there and mmg no idea where the place was. We met at KL Sentral ard 11am then walked out KL Sentral looking for Axiata building. Masa ni rasa mcm tourist plak sbb duk bz tgk map kat fon. Receptionist Kl Sentral td informed the SSM building was next to Axiata  building. Idokler kami nmpk bayang SSM tu. Rupa2nyer kena cross road pegi ke Axiata building to and walked like 3mins baru nmpk SSM office :).

We was told to go up to level 14 utk register company. Masa sampai2 tu we all kena que kat kaunter pertanyaan utk ambik borang. Then we went to the writing area utk isi form. Little that i know we have to put 3 choices of company names dlm borang tu. Dahla pening kepala nak letak nama company byk2! hahaha So you all make sure dah ada 3 nama company siap2 sebelum dtg tau. Xdela membazir masa nk pk time2 tu jugak kann.

I chose Sole Proprietorship utk my company. If you guys nak register Partnership type kena bring your partner sekalI masa register tu k. Lps isi borang, pegi blk kaunter pertanyaan dan borang td and dia akan bg no giliran utk ke kaunter daftar. 

Masa i nak register, the officer told me the 3 names I put in the form was not appropriate to proceed with the registration. I was like whaaaaaatttt?! seriously?! Adoiii kat kaunter kena pk plak nama lain. Stress betul kot! I put nama ddsewswithlove enterprise but then the officer ckp if i choose that name it cannot be in 1 word. Kena separate2 plak so jadi dd sews with love. OMG that's too long plak utk nama company kannn..Jd xcantik plak i rasa. Next tips is you must choose nama yg meaningless in the system's dictionary. If the system found nama yg ada makna you will need to separate the names lah. If you don't mind then OKla but if not you need to find names yg menaningless contohnyer mcm pakooputeh enterprise ke, yoyoor enterprise ke...contohla kannn...hihi

I need to put my 4th choice company name which was Dianasierra Enterprise and Alhamdulillah they accepted the name. Phewwwww Igtkan blh je pilih nama ikut suka (just make sure nama xduplicate dgn org lain punyer) rupa2nya tak jugak..Fee for registration was RM70.60(inclusive GST) for one year. You can register terus utk 5 years pun blh.

The officer informed us jugak if we wanted to register the name i want earlier, i should register it as a brand name. Mcm nama trademark/branding kita laa.  To register brand name we need to go to MyIpo dekat Menara UOA Bangsar South. Yang ni i belum study lg further. hehe

Lepas byr and dpt resit from the officer we have to wait at counter 12 (pertanyaan dan borang) utk tunggu dpt statement SSM kita. They will call your name and pass to you the SSM statement. Itu lah saje cara - cara nak register company ye readers. Tak susah pun if kita dah ready awal2 the form and crowd pun xheavy sgt.
